Job Summary
We are seeking a Installation Technician to join our team! As a Security Installation Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include safes, locks of all types, access control, CCTV, remotes, and more. The ideal candidate has experience with security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and an analytical way of thinking. 

Responsibilities 
  • Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs
  • Troubleshoot problems in systems, and make repairs or replacements
  • Install new security systems, including electronic locks, alarms, CCTVs, and more
  • Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock vehicles and supplies as needed
  • Ensures proper and timely installation of systems and devices for businesses and residential customers
  • Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all time
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the security industry field desired
  • Works with various types of equipment and systems, such as computer networks, security systems, HVAC systems, and audiovisual equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • May work in telecommunications, cable, internet, and security system companies, among other industries
  • Reliable transportation 
Educational/Licensing Requirements
  • Certificate or Associate Degree: Electrical and/or Technology Engineering
  • HVAC Technicians: Prefered

Compensation: $47,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
